Table 5 defines the role of the owner contractorand supplier. Concrete supplied under this specification will be specified in accordance with the performance alternative in table 5 of csa a23 1 with the exception that the contractor shall submit the proposed concrete mix design s identifying the exact proportions of all constituent materials by mass or volume. If tolerances equivalent to the requirements of csa a23 4 are desired then csa a23 4 is specified for all precasting operations. It is not intended to remove or reduce any responsibilities of the parties involved in the project.

If this option is selected the owner shall identify the following.
